History: Thomas’ father was originally from London and grew up working in the city as a journalist. While reporting in France he met his wife and it was love at first sight. They were married two years later at Marie’s family vineyard and George took over advertising for the family. Thomas’ power originates from his maternal line, his mother possessed faint psychic abilities and his grandfather had psychometry of lives and objects.
Thomas’ abilities manifested in his mid teens where his powers drove a teacher insane but forcing her to hear whispers constantly whispering her darkest regrets, feats and memories. Thomas was approached by Poseidon Prep and soon enrolled and began to learn and control his abilities.

Personality: Thomas is friendly, very friendly, bordering manically friendly. He’s generally upbeat and social, which is a stark contrast to his abilities. Thomas has a very wide circle of acquaintances and a smaller group of friends. While he flirts it’s mostly as a joke and a way of messing with people in good jest.
Thomas can normally be found in a social situation, or places where there are people and he likes to interact with others and actually learn about them. He enjoys non-competitive and team sports although he's by no means an athlete star, he just likes to have fun.
His humour is fairly teasing and he can be snarky although it lacks any malice and he prefers observational style jokes. And irony, he loves irony.
In a fight Thomas keeps his mania and laughs a lot to put his opponents off guard.

Fighting Style: Thomas fights at medium to long range. He has basic combat training but most are restraining moves.

Skills/Talents: Thomas is bilingual and uses psychological tactics and taunts to unnerve his opponents as well as get them to underestimate him.


Strengths/Abilities:
Insanopathy – The ability to induce insanity in others. How this works is that he mentally makes the victim hear whispering voices, and see things in the corner of their eyes. These images and voices repeat their doubts, fears, regrets and worst memories as well as induces delusions which erode their sanity. If used in small doses it doesn’t leave lingering effects, but if used in force it can leave psychic trauma.

Mental Maze: his powers subconsciously work as defences against mind reading. While strong telepaths and psychics could read his mind they'd have difficulty getting anything as his powers begin to affect them and can leave them in bad shape. It's best just to attack with raw psychic power than anything skilled.

Weaknesses/Limitations: Thomas’ ability cannot influence non-organic or non-sentient beings. Also if his psychic abilities are blocked he is pretty much human.

Thomas while strong against mind reading and mind control can be overwhelmed by powerful psychic blasts.

Physical Appearance: Chris is short, but what she lacks in height she makes up in personality. She is not physically imposing and her nose makes her look 12. However she is pretty fit after growing up helping her dad on a farm. Chris however is dead. She was killed, by Revenant who was shortly killed after. She can become corporeal and spends a great deal of her energy on doing so.

History: Christine is a proud and strong independent woman. She is a hereditary witch on both sides of her family, but she’s been raised to rely on herself and not her powers.
She was killed while helping Travis during the Lullaby incident, remaining bound to this world by necromancy itself. However she can become corporeal and she uses a lot of her magic to do that. On account of being dead she now spends time acting as a librarian in the school as well as carrying on her education in mythical creatures.

Personality: Pragmatic, hard headed and not afraid of fighting her corner. Chris will avoid confrontation mostly unless someone does something to either victimise someone or if they cross her or her morals. Fighting Style: Chris plays dirty in close quarters and has a surprising endurance due to a childhood of working on a farm. She will utilise spells that act as hexes or wards and her magic is a lot more defensive than offensive.

Skills/Talents: Speaks and reads old Norse and German. Can bake, make cheese, garden, keep animals. Good poker face. Vast knowledge of mythical and mundane creatures as well as a theoretical knowledge of rituals.


Strengths/Abilities:
Magic: Chris has mystical abilities. Unlike Travis’ style, Chris relies more on wards and defensive magic. She can inscribe barriers that can delay or banish undead and other supernatural creatures. Her wards can be made with salt, chalk or blood. In terms of offensive magic she can shoot a weak lightning bolt which stuns and can force foes back but not kill them.

Weaknesses/Limitations: Chris’ magic isn’t that strong, she relies on knowledge of mystical creatures and rituals to strengthen them. Catch her off-guard and she can barely cast a strong ward and she relies on spoken spells to cast magic.

As a ghost Chris must expend magic to remain corporeal as such this also acts as a limiting factor on her magic. Should she become incorporeal she has access to greater magic. Although given her personality she prefers staying corporeal.

History: Mike’s an orphan who went through several foster families but never stayed anywhere too long. Never trying too hard in school as he changed so often he pretty much drifted. His spare time was spent in the park where he would sketch plants and scenes that he would watch all day. His powers came about subtly, plants began to bloom around him and responded to his emotional states. When he was attacked once, brambles wrapped around his attackers and left them terribly hurt.
Verdant came and asked him to join PPA and he’s been there for a few months although he’s in several catch-up classes, and helps out in the gardening club as his extra-curricular credit.

Personality: Mike loves to draw and is mostly at the edge of the party where he’ll sketch a scene, or you’ll find him in the gardens where he’s tending to the plants. In social situations he’s awkward as he has a few trust issues and never formed lasting friendships as he moved about a lot. He’s starting to open up but the main way to find out what he’s feeling is to look at his sketches.

Weapons: Mike carries with him a small collection of different seeds with him in case he finds himself in a situation where there is no plant life for him to manipulate.

Fighting Style: Mike avoids direct confrontation and fights in a defensive manner: causing thorns and plants to form a shield around him.

Strengths/Abilities:
Chlorokinesis: Mike can control plants, influencing their growth as well as commanding them to do what he wants. He tends to control brambles, but can make anything grow certain plants even in their unnatural season.

Toxin synthesis/ immunity: Mike’s powers also allow him to synthesis poisons found in plants. Despite not having an indepth knowledge of plant biology, when he needs to create poison he sub-consciously creates the toxin found in the plant foxbane (Aconitum vulparia), hence his name. He avoids using this ability but can as a last resort. He is also immune to plant toxins.

Weaknesses/Limitations:
Despite an immunity to plant toxins, he is still affected by fungal, bacterial and animal toxins. He cannot control plants where plants are not such as a concrete jungle. Also he must retain concentration on any plants grown to a greater size or else they rot quickly as he stimulates their growth.

Yay! It's great to have you back Dark! :)

I love the revamp on Thomas' powers. Streamlined and easier to understand.

Thanks a bunch bringing in Chris but can we talk about her history? Are we changing the fact that she died? I'm happy either way but Travis would probably have been less....Travisish (totally a word) to Sculptor if she had lived. Heh we even referenced her funeral.

I like the contrast between the two. Travis is very much a combat specialist so having someone he trusts around to do wards would be a blessing.

Altered her somewhat. She's still a ghost but uses her magic to remain corporeal which limits how much magic she can use.

And yes, no more Necromancer. :)

I am....okay with Foxbane...but one faith and begora or diddly-iddle and I will END you >.<

Very interesting characters, not sure really what to make of them, but I feel good about them, they aren't 2d and they're very real though not alive

Yeah Mike's not going to be overtly Irish, or at least not horrendous stereotypical Irish. I'm going to have fun finding his feet as I don't think I've played a withdrawn character yet so it'll be fun.

Chris might be fun as she's staff but not staff, she bothers with the students and just spends time organising the library.

So Chris is an assistant Librarian working under Whisper? Why are there so many incorporeal beings in the library?! :P

I love Psycho's powers, and I can't help but wonder what that might do to Sculptor, considering certain conversations I've been having with candyman about his powers...
