Hello all and congratulations!

Hello all! I just got here from the article I saw over at Newsarama and was wondering about this series that got the Queer award. While doing it, I was wondering why most gay comics were too saturated with sex and why there wasn't a just a "regular" story where the characters just happened to be gay. Well, you just granted my wish :). I just finished reading the webcomic version of issue 1 and I'm already thrilled. You're doing a great work in here and I just wanted to congratulate all of the people involved.

As I just landed in this forum, I still have to find my way around, still, it seemed appropriate to say hello.

As for me, I've worked for gay rights in the past and now I'm working as a creative writer in the advertising field. Comics have always been my passion and I'm even pushing a web comic project at work, we'll see how it goes.

Anyway, I'll check this forum next and I'll read the other two episodes of Pride High. And congrats again. I'm going to recommend the links to some friends, too.

Lol I love that! Just a regular gay story that isnt about sex. Creative writing = <3

You'll really love it here--I live for the fanfiction section myself so I really hope to see some of your stuff around :)

Thanks, Chameleongirl and Moon Sage, I already feel the love :).

I've been a lot into Roleplaying, ever since the Crossgen forum which was some 8-9 years ago .

I've been also giving a look to the RP section as I'm so tempted to join, I just need to find the right opening, right story and what kind of character would fit in here, plus give some stories a deeper look. The rules seem a little different to what I'm used to, so I really need to get the setting figured out.

Other than that, this place seems like a nice place to hang out.

Oh, it is. The roleplaying section is to die for. I cant keep up because I'm usually forgetful and busy but I think the only thing you need is a reference sheet handy for character bios--just because the powers are diverse and so are the characters (also, some make references to their character histories).

I've been skimming through the stories but I still need to find the right "feel" to the stories. Is it all based on the "Pride High" setting? If so, I'll have to finish reading issues 2 and 3 which are in webcomic format

Ayway, Moon Sage, can you recommend me where to start? That'd be really helpful.

A few settings take place in off-campus places, a few in alternate dimensions, a few in the school... It's all relative to the person who started the thread and where it goes for them.

Just read around--for those who roleplay a lot (you'll find their names most often), take a look at their character profiles. Then create a character, get feedback, and jump in when you feel ready.

Cool 8)

When I finally get to create my character, where do I post his/her bio? Do I create a new thread or is there a specific place I should look at?

Btw, I think I have a character from quite a while that would fit just right in here ;).

It's called Student and Faculty Registration
(http://www.pridecomics.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=11) and you do create a new thread.

I (and everyone else) look forward to seeing your character :)
